"I'm inspired by Greenhouse's mission to combine storytelling and self-reflection with hands-on social justice work. I hope to find ways to help harness the creativity, passion, and interests of Greenhouse teens to tackle real-world social justice issues. "

Marvin Vilman

Assistant Director of Annual Giving at MIT Sloan

Marvin Vilma is an educator and entrepreneur, passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences for students. His passion for teaching stems from a desire to rethink the classroom experience, particularly after working with middle school students for four summers. Additionally, he had the opportunity to participate in an incubator at Colgate University and founded an event planning company of his own. The experience made Marvin realize the value of entrepreneurship inspired action-based learning, which prompted his involvement with The Greenhouse. However, at the root of Marvin's passion is supporting young people as they achieve their personal and professional goals. Marvin currently works at the Sloan School of Management at MIT. He works with the fundraising team as an Annual Giving officer. He spends time reading, writing, enjoying Netflix, cooking and developing new ideas during his spare time.
